MEMAT 3 has been integrated with the professional Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system – SugarCRM. This tool helps you to manage the users who sign up on your website. Below are instructions in video form and text form on how to use the CRM to manage the permissions your users have on your site. To find out how to use other features of this CRM click on “support”, top right, when you are in your CRM.

USERS
Users can be added to your CRM in 2 ways – either they register on your site, or you go into the CRM and add them. Here is how to add a user via the CRM:
1. Login as an administrator on your web site.
2. Three tabs will appear at the top of the page. Click on “Website Dashboard”.
3. On the Website Dashboard click on “Customer Relationship Management (CRM)” under “My Buyers”
4. On this page you will need to login again as the administrator to access your CRM.
5. Once into your CRM you will find 4 tabs – home, accounts, contacts and activities. Click on “contacts”.
6. Now click on “create contact” and fill in the fields where you have information. For the user to be able to use your site you must fill in their firstname, lastname, email address, username and password. You must stipulate user type as “buyer”, although they may not actually be buying from you.
7. From this page you can also give the user permission to download files off your site.
8. Save.
SUPPLIERS
If you require more suppliers (sub collections) to be able to upload files to your site you can make application for this by adding a supplier to your CRM. Add as for a buyer (see steps above) but stipulate user type as “supplier”. This request will then be sent through to our technical department and they will set up the supplier for you and notify you when the supplier has been created on your site. Please note that it costs R25 per month per extra supplier/subcollection on your web site.
